Constructed of solid pine and ash veneers
Seven-step nitrocellulose lacquer finishing process

1st step - We apply varnish that closes the grain
2nd, 3rd - Nitrocellulose lacquer coats, (the vintage lacquer developed in the 1930s). We buff coats between applications
4th step - We apply tinted, antiquing glaze
5th step - We wet-sand the edges back to the natural mahogany color and then re-tint the edges
6th step - We apply a protective 65% to 70% gloss varnish coating
7th step - We finish with beeswax and carnauba wax for more shine
